If you are wondering why do your earphones sound lag while playing pubg or using other applications you can read the following paragraph or you can skip below.

Honestly, guys, this was the only solution I could find i searched for hours and this was the closest thing which really worked for me.

When I drive my kids they often watch cartoons on my android phone with the cartoon's audio coming out of the car speakers, connected to the car's audio system via bluetooth. Unfortunately, there is a very visible seconds delay between the video as observed on the phone's screen and the audio.
There is no such delay when listening to the audio directly from the phone's speaker. There is no noticeable delay when the phone is connected to the same car for the purpose of phone conversations.

Thus the question: what may be causing this and how do I reconfigure whatever needs to be configured in order to fix this? In case if the specifics matter, the phone is Samsung Galaxy S5, the car is Honda Odyssey with built-in audio system.
There is a bug in the bluetooth handshake that results in data-only transmission. This means then that the phone is encoding audio into data, and then the car is decoding that data back into audio.
As a result, you get lag on the encode, and lag on the decode. Honda is aware of the issue, but as of has yet to release a firmware upgrade for cars with this issue.
I do not know if Hondas still exhibit this bug. As far as I know this is just how Bluetooth works. Throughout all my years there has always been a delay in audio when used in combination with Bluetooth. So I guess your fix would be to find a video player where you can manually sync the video and audio.
This is a known issue with Hondas. I have much better resource Bluetooth sync in non honda automobiles. The phone isn't the issue it's the honda. Sign up to join this community.Tidyverse heatmap

Member introductions. Lazard Member May 3, The sound is actually quite great but I have a big problem, the audio is not synced with the phone When listening to music it's not a big deal, but when I want to watch a video or even just make a call using Skype, the delay is really upsetting.
I think it's the Bluetooth fault but I'm not sure, does anyone have the same problem? Or better, an idea to fix this problem? Last edited: May 3, EfficientNinja Active member May 3, Bluetooth technology is a ubiquitous part of our lives, and a crucial tool in the fight against cord clutter.
And when your laptop, phone, or other device is hooked up via Bluetooth to a wireless speaker or pair of headphones and the audio playback starts to stutter, it can be nothing short of infuriating.
Often, this is due to a partial disconnection or interruption of the signal between the two wireless points. In some cases, stuttering can be the result of an object physically blocking the connection.
Much of our tech relies on Bluetooth, and the steps to fix the problem on one kind of device may not solve the issue on another.
A good place to start is by turning Bluetooth off and back on. You can also try unpairing and repairing devices and limiting the number of apps or devices that may be connected via Bluetooth at the same time. Whether you have a PC or a Mac, there are a number of issues that can create audio stuttering.
One is signal interference. Various electronics, including cordless phones, baby monitors, and microwave ovens, can cause that interference since many household devices operate in the same frequency range.
One method to fix this problem is to try changing the channel on your wireless network. Resetting your router may prompt it to use the 2. Also, consider minimizing the number of active Bluetooth devices you have connected to your computer.
Some Mac users have also found increased audio stuttering when Handoff is turned on.
This feature allows continuity across your Mac, iOS device, and Apple Watch—you can start an email on your iPhone and finish typing it on your Mac. For instance, stuttering may take place if your computer recognizes a Bluetooth speaker as both a speaker and a wireless headset.
Deselect the headset, and choose it as a wireless speaker. So when you remove these problem files by clearing the cache, the proper files are recreated, which allows you to connect your phone and car via Bluetooth. Reddit is also a good resource for troubleshooting with other users who have experienced similar issues. Since most wireless headphones connect to various devices via Bluetooth, there are instances when a mobile app associated with a particular pair of headphones is the issue.
Earbud-style headphones may, by their nature, present more stuttering problems than other wireless models, such as dropped connections between the two earbuds, difficulty syncing correctly, or dropped calls. Phreaker47 Member. I have the t-mobile version. There's about a tenths of a second sound delay with bluetooth audio. You can see it with video and watching someone speak.
When I disconnect and play on the phone speaker, everything syncs back up immediately. Strangely though, I just tested my moto elite sliver headset and I'm NOT getting the lag on that, or at least, it's virtually undetectable.
Really disappointed with this discovery. Hope there's a fix or will be soon. My old phone didn't have this problem. This is really disappointing because this is a big feature for me. It doesn't lag through the phone speaker.
Huge effing issue. Can someone else reproduce this? Can anyone either reproduce this or confirm it doesn't happen for them?DON'T BUY EARPHONES BEFORE WATCHING THIS VIDEO !
Nothing I've tried short of a factory reset which I'd like to avoid has helped. Jeffrey Premium Member. Sounds like a Sammy issue.
You may want to contact Sammy support and ask if they are aware and if so what are they doing about it. Just tried a live chat at samsung. After about 20 questions asked and answered, she concluded that the problem is that my bluetooth devices are not made by Samsung. Just wow. I'm going to pair my Vita to the car stereo tomorrow and play something on netflix. If I can get no lag from that, I'm blaming the phone. I'm using a cheap BT device from Amazon plugged into the mp3 port of car stereo.
No YouTube lag. No locally stored movie lag.
Any way to fix Bluetooth audio wireless delay for Windows 10?
No lag when connected to plantronics head set. Vzw S5. Thought about exchanging the phone but I reproduced the issue with a co-worker's S5, so that settles that. Just have to hope they fix it, but I'm probably screwed.
I don't want to start all over with a new phone just for this, but it does suck.Trading strategy examples
I suppose it's possible that Kenwood could release a firmware update for my stereo as well, but I didn't see one available now.Bluetooth headphones and speakers at times start to stutter.
Some will stutter from day one while others will do it at random. If your Bluetooth audio problems have been there since day one, try every fix in this section, and the next one. Some speakers and headphones end up registering as two different devices. They might register as both a speaker and as a headset. Select your device and check to see if the stuttering goes away.
Here, you will see your Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Identify it via its name and not the icon. The icon very likely may be incorrect so the name will help you identify your speakers or headphones correctly.
Right-click the device and select Properties.
On the Properties window, go to the Services tab. If it has, the new version is likely causing problems in which case, you should roll back the driver. Try moving your device closer to your system and check if the stuttering goes away. Make sure your device is fully charged. If possible, try using it while connected to a power source. Much like restarting your system might resolve a lot of problems, unpairing and pairing your device again might fix the stuttering as well.
For good measure, restart your system after unpairing the device, then pair it again. Phones and tablets can interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
Try moving phones and tablets away from your speakers to see if it fixes the problem. Your email address will not be published. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.

You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. I know I can't be the only one who experiences this because I have tried several different bluetooth headsets and speakers on multiple PC's, laptops, and even a surface pro 4.
For music it's not big deal because you can't really realize the delay. However, watching videos or playing a game it becomes extremely noticeable. Its generally a lag of about somewhere between ms as a rough estimate based on adjustments through VLC and Kodi. This seems to be the case for all devices on all systems.
I even came across an open source Bluetooth fix, which made it slightly closer, and have gone through tons of forums saying to turn off power management for the Bluetooth and disabling audio enhancements However, there's always a lag had the same issue on windows 8.
Also, when I use my android tablet or phone, there is no noticeable delay with any of these devices. If it helps, I've tried using powerbeats Bluetooth headphones firmware up to datesome generic Bluetooth headphones, Amazon Echo, and Amazon Tap. Each seem to have the same delay. Especially since I primarily use Plex to stream my personal content which does not have an audio sync setting. This is clearly a windows issue since I have no delay when connecting to non windows devices.
With all that said, does anyone have any other ideas or possible solutions to this issue? Did this solve your problem? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.Hardware id spoofer windows 10
What are we supposed to do, rewrite the audio drivers ourselves to use the new APIs?! This is no helpful at all. It seems this audio lag is a known problem in Windows but doesn't happen enough to get any attention? I have two different brands of bluetooth headsets that both have this video-audio lag on windows but not on my Android devices. It's very frustrating that MS experts are so clewless.
Thanks for backing me on this. I don't understand why this issue doesn't seem to get more attention. I know in programs like VLC and Kodi, you can adjust audio latency for video, but that is only helpful if you have the media on your pc and not streaming.
